Usage
Registering Names
To register a name, go to MultiverseNameService.io and search for the name that you would like to register.
In order to register a name, you will need to be logged in which can be done using the button in the top right corner. Logging in will require you to have the Enjin Wallet connected to the wallet that you want to register with. Click the login button and the scan the QR from the Enjin Wallet app.
Once you are logged in, you can select the register button on your desired name. This will take you through the process of approving the ENJ cost transaction which will then mint the token to your wallet.
Naming Conventions
These are the rules that govern names that are allowed in the Multiverse Name Service...
All names end with the ".mv" domain
Minimum length of 3 characters
Maximum length of 20 characters
May only contain letters, numbers and "-" characters
Inappropriate or offensive terms are blocked
Caps Sensitivity
Caps sensitivity is very important for getting your favorite gaming name just right. As a result, Multiverse Name Services captures your desired casing into each token you register. However, name uniqueness is not caps sensitive. As a result, it is not possible for 2 names to be registered that are the same except for their casing.
Offensive Names
Multiverse Name Service does not support the creation of names that are crude or offensive. We make preliminary efforts to block such names from being created. However, it is not possible for us to block all offensive or crude names. As a result, if it is determined that a name that has been registered fits this category then it will be marked with an "adult" attribute which developers may choose to block from their games and apps. Efinity Name Service does not accept any liability for the names selected for registration by its users.
Pricing
The price for registering a name is targeting at $10 per token registered. This price includes the transaction cost (gas fees) and token deposit. The costs for registering names are used to maintain the service and fund future development. Thank you for your continued support!
